Oh, how we danced on the night we were wed
We vowed our true love though a word wasn't said
The world was in bloom, there were stars in the skies
Except for the few that were there in your eyes

Dear as I held you close in my arms
Angels were singing a hymn to your charms
Two hearts gently beating, murmuring low
Darling, I love you so

The night seemed to fade into blossoming dawn
The sun shone anew but the dance lingered on
Could we but relive that sweet moment sublime
We'd find that our love is unaltered by time

Wedding Photo and Reception Guest Book
John and Shirlene Allman were
honored with a reception hosted by sons
Steve and Gary and their wives on
Sunday, July 16, 2006 to celebrate
their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

The night before the reception they were
to be quests at a family dinner
including their sons and spouses.
When they arrived at the restaurant
they were surprised by 38 friends and
family.  Shirlene tells us.  "It was a
total surprise to us and how 38
people kept a secret all those months,
I cannot imagine. Our oldest
granddaughter is being married on
October 21st  and even her fiancé
came. Our entire family was here and
we had a joyous time".
