50th Wedding Anniversary: Joe McDonald and Betty Sue Crain were married August
24, 1958, at East Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield. Both are accountants in
Springfield. The couple has three daughters, Joni (Mike) Burgess, Kansas City; Lesli
(David) Reid, Lebanon, and Kari (Kenny) Scott, Willard. Seven grandchildren, Kellen
and Morgan Burgess; Courtney ( Clint) Starnes, Cullen (Britlyn) and Bailey Reid; Kelsey
and Kenley Scott; and two great-grandsons, Hayden and Hudson Starnes. They took a
cruise in June to the Western Caribbean with the Burgesses and will have a family
dinner during Labor Day Weekend.
